The mining industry has its work cut out for it, said Richard Ross, program director of Global Mining Management at York University’s School of Business. He asked his MBA class to look at the ethical and social commitments professed by mining companies: “Are any of these companies serious about the statement of values you find on their websites.” Their unanimous answer: “No”.
