The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service, in collaboration with the Centre for Excellence in CSR, recently unveiled a series of tools developed for companies that respond to specific situations and challenges related to CSR including: stakeholder engagement, managing requests for community support and hiring responsibly. To address the challenges raised when engaging with stakeholders, the OECD has developed guidance for practitioners in the mining, oil and gas industries.
