The recently combined CIM Mineral Resources Mineral Reserves Committee, led by Deborah McCombe, President and CEO of RPA Inc., and co-chaired by Garth Kirkham, President of Kirkham Geosystems Ltd., held their first meeting on October 11, 2017. The Committee’s first initiative will be updating the Exploration Best Practices, led by Reno Pressacco, Principal Geologist of RPA Inc. The Committee is also developing a revised Terms of Reference and updating the CIM website to facilitate navigation and optimize user experience. Quarterly reports will be produced for the CIM Council. Observers of the Committee are Chris Collins, B.C. Securities Commission, and Craig Waldie, Ontario Securities Commission.
