Dominique Girard is vice-president of Agnico Eagle’s Nunavut operations, a position he has held since January 2016. He began his career with Agnico Eagle in 2000 as a metallurgical engineer at the LaRonde mine. Since then, he has held a number of key positions including general manager at the Meadowbank mine, mill superintendent at the Kittila mine, corporate director with the Business Strategy and Technical Services group and most recently vice-president, Technical Services. He graduated with a BSc in mineral processing engineering from Laval University in 2000 and is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
