Stuart Greaves started his career in the heavy equipment business in 1978 with Crothers Ltd. After a decade in the service department, he ventured into the sales and management side of the Caterpillar. In 1994 he moved his family to Sudbury to take on the role of underground mining territory manager with Toromont CAT and has been an instrumental driving force behind Toromont CAT and Caterpillar’s growth in the mining community across the dealership territory.

Upon arrival in Sudbury he soon realized that the local CIM Branch played in integral role in establishing a network in the professional mining community. Soon after joining he began volunteering at various CIM meetings and events and eventually became a Director in the Sudbury Branch until mid 2011.
