There exists significant economic potential for rare earth elements and chromite production in Canada, along with a need for science and technology to realize these opportunities. The Rare Earth Elements and Chromite (REEChromite) Research and Development website is hosted by CIM on behalf of the program stakeholders. It provides information on the program, its participants, stakeholders, and the science and technology undertaken. It also includes summary reports (available to members) of project research and development.
