Based on a recommendation by the Governance Committee, CIM Council decided to change the title of CIM’s top position to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from Executive Director (ED) in August. Angela Hamlyn will be the first CEO of CIM.

“In line with other not-for-profit organizations, the title of CEO better reflects the operational leadership role held by Angela Hamlyn,” said Janice Zinck, CIM President 2018-2019.

Hamlyn’s role and responsibilities will not change as a result of the new title. Hamlyn was appointed ED on January 1, 2018 and has been at the CIM National Office for more than 10 years.
