Curtis Markwart is the Senior Manager, Mining at the K+S Potash Canada Bethune Mine located in Bethune Saskatchewan. He is accountable for site mining activities which includes solution mining operation, well services, mine planning, geology, and drilling. He joined K+S Potash Canada as part of the mining team in 2012 during the greenfield stage Legacy Project and has been part of the combined effort to develop the site into full operation. 

Markwart grew up in Regina and graduated from the University of Regina in 2009 with a degree in Petroleum Systems Engineering.
