David Davidson is currently a partner and senior mining analyst with Paradigm Capital Inc., a Toronto-based, employee-owned brokerage firm. During his four years at Paradigm, his firm has been in the forefront of equity financing for mining companies active in the redevelopment of the copperbelt in Zambia and DRC. Davidson has spent the last 17 years as a mining analyst, specializing in the research of supply and demand fundamentals, as well as global trends in the commodity markets. He has been consistently ranked as one of the top mining analysts in Canada. Prior to embarking on his financial career, hespent 18 years in the mining industry in exploration and mine development, principally with Placer Dome Ltd.

Davidson has an M.Sc. from Acadia University and an EMBA from The University of Toronto. In addition to CIM, he is a Fellow in the Geological Association of Canada and a member of PDAC.
