Jane Spooner is a principal with Micon International Limited. She graduated as a geologist from the University of Manchester and has a Master of Science degree in environmental resources from the University of Salford. She specializes in mineral market analysis and has prepared studies on a wide range of metals and industrial minerals, specialty mineral products, coal and uranium. Jane's market and price outlook studies are used by Micon in the evaluation and valuation of mineral properties and she also provides market analysis for the advice of clients looking at new business opportunities and acquisitions, and in support of litigation. 

Jane has held the position of Chair of the Mineral Economics Society of CIM in 1999-2001 and was Co-chair of the Management and Economics Society in 2004-2005.
