Since 1953, North American Construction Group (NACG) has provided services to large oil, natural gas, and resource companies, specializing in the Canadian oil sands region. We are one of the largest providers of heavy construction and mining services in Western Canada and maintain the largest independently owned equipment fleets of any heavy civil construction and mining contractor in Canada.  NACG partnered with the Mikisew Group in 2018. 

In 2023, Mikisew North American Limited Partnership (MNALP) provided mining and heavy civil services to Syncrude (Operated by Suncor) on the Aurora site, located approximately 80km North of Fort McMurray, Alberta.  MNALP completed large overburden removal and reclamation materials movement scopes, the construction of an internal drains and filter sand project for major dam infrastructure and other complementary mine support work.
