Samantha is a mining executive with 37 years of industry experience leading operations, technical services, and as a corporate director with international mining companies: Vale, Inco, Glencore, Noranda, Falconbridge, Denison.  She is a non-executive board member of Paramount Gold Nevada, Northern Graphite Corporation, and Canadian Academy of Engineering, Past President of CIM, and Chair of the CIM Health and Safety Society. She is a senior mining advisor for Stantec leading mining project studies in exploration through to closure phases. She leads cross-sector collaboration to rapidly seek out and implement value-added solutions. The cornerstones of Samantha’s values are respect and dignity.  Samantha is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, a founding director of WISE (Sudbury) and received achievement awards: WIM Trailblazer, Top 100 Global Women in Mining, CIM Distinguished Service, UofT Mid-Career, PEO Engineering Management, Engineers Canada Leadership, and the Governor General’s Gold Medal. She is a CIM Past President.
