Objectives

To stimulate and advance the application of geology, geophysics and geochemistry in the exploration, development and exploitation of mineral resources by arrangement of technical sessions, lectures and discussions; by publication of technical papers; by sponsorship of field excursions; and by promotion and encouragement of research and education in the earth sciences.
