With 25 years in the mining sector, she is deeply familiar with industry standards, and she has engaged with Boards and operations to find value-driven, sustainable solutions for mine waste management challenges. Over the past decade, she has volunteered significant time with innovation hubs like CMIC and GMG, and mining graduate and certificate programs, and held key executive roles with the CIM Environment & Social Responsibility Society, and national and international tailings working groups. She also recently collaborated with Agnico Eagle Mines to develop an innovative risk governance software platform for critical waste infrastructure, complying with global mine waste management standards, for reducing risks and producing transparent performance disclosures.
