CIM Fellowship
Manochehr has devoted a substantial part of his career to advancing knowledge and innovation in the realm of minerals processing and hydrometallurgy and education.
He obtained a Ph.D. at the University of Leeds, UK, focusing his research on cutting-edge developments in mineral processing. He started his career as Assistant Professor at Tehran University, conducting numerous research and development projects and supervised numerous M.S.c and Ph.D. students.
After landing in Canada in 2007, he joined Hatch as a senior process engineer. Over his 11-year tenure at Hatch, he actively contributed to a multitude of studies and projects, handling key responsibilities in notable initiatives and mentored many new graduates and young engineers.
In 2017, he took on the role of process manager at Lycopodium, and over the course of three years, he seized the opportunity to engage in projects from their early stages through construction and commissioning phases.
Presently, he serves as the director of mineral processing at Worley Canada, where he has been involved in diverse projects.
